You actually get more prof per hour with an event like that.

Meh. It takes me a while to collect these items on my own.

Yeah maybe it’s faster if we were purchasing them and there’s unlimited supply.

Truthfully, the only time I like it is when I’m muting low level items just to get the essences.

I've gained 63% prof into rank 32 on transmuting over the 2 last events. but yeah if you are doing solo all the time and gather the items on your own maybe faster transmuting isn't your cup of tea.
Me personally love faster transmuting, the higher the better. So i can do more items per hour
