I try not to post in this topic, just watch it, since I'm not a participant, however I would advise that the club is "better". The average damage is 87 vs 88 (based on your current stats). So it does fall in favor of the battleaxe. And the range means your club will hit more zeros. All of this is true.
Yet on average, you're likely to end up with similar damage total from the two, with higher dps from the club, but that's not even the issue I'd view. You're on hardcore, correct? So that means, if you die, your item goes poof. I would assume that you're probably rolling on /set easy 1 so 2 mobs max, but beyond feeder, it's 3 regardless come 71. Two stunners and you face a severe problem where with the heavy weapon, you have not quite double the delay between hits, with stun shots extending that delay. You can realistically become nearly stunlocked, and unable to run away, should you need.
My advice is to use the club. The ability to react means more than the ability to predict when death is final.
If you disagree, I respect that, I do ask that, since I'm not involved in this beyond a simple piece of advice, if you wish to discuss further, please pm me. ♥
Actually I don't disagree, I do however know how to counter stun lock even when facing 3 stunners in a wave using Heavy weapons, just change to heal and spam the door while above 50% life bar and re make new game. Note: Also done this technique vs 2 stunners and Pawfulgore (while Pulfulgore was in the middle of his Quick strike phase).
Thanks for the advice, it also helps with anyone else doing bufcore runs who reads it.

Back to topic... this is a very interesting find if I was doing a Mage / Rogue Bufcore character;
Mythical cotton robe II
Physical Defense: 0 to 3
Magical Defense: 6 to 18
+10 Intelligence
+192 Max Mana
+1 Critical Strike
+1 to 3 Mana per Attack
+1 Jubilance
Pity not a TierIII with 15 Int / 292 max mana ...
