Definitely created the the game and entered the 2nd Trap Door prior to the current event. However, I also believe that the +300% to Trap door monsters should still be in effect, however, spawning a new mob, means that they spawn with the current modifiers... it is like +10% Proficiency Event, and then the next event doesn't have that modifier, you only gain the same Prof (max 10 instead of 11 from the +10% proficiency event prior) because the new monster spawned, is currently from the new event.

Hence my question... it is hard to gauge, and I think I just answered my own question... no, the +300% etc for trapdoor monster spawns don't exist in this new event.

I’m wondering if when you went down the td and were fighting (before the new event happened) if you noticed the monsters being harder to fight (I imagine that since you are hardcore this would be much more noticeable) then possibly you received a 1006 disconnect or went to sleep/inactive with the catacomb still open but when you resumed play if the monsters became much simpler to attack or if they were the same difficulty?

Due to my timezone... I fell off to sleep... my game is still active and have had like 3 or more 1006's and 1 instance of a 1001 (not sure how this happened).

However, I haven't continued with the game since I woke up like 8 hours ago... you know, real life things first Commonsense tells me that... when I encounter a new monster while in the 2nd Trap Door, will result to the New Event... but I could be wrong, so when I carry on, I will see it for myself based on any white items that may drop... as an example before this update, I got a Tier X white item when my toon was level 29.

Hmm, basically some modifiers will remain during certain events and you created a catacomb between each event.

Example: No Trapdoor event. If you created a run [catacomb] before this event, any trapdoor will still be active... basically you created this catacomb prior to the "No Trapdoor" modifier thus, if the catacomb has a trapdoor, you will still activate it during the new event. You need to make a new catacomb. As for +X% EPs event, they remain from the previous Event as long as you created the catacomb prior to the New Event.

Anything affecting the map spawn of number of events remain due to maze shape and events rolling when you create the game not when they are triggered.

The welling side of the event helps flood the market with items to mute as well. Overall it’s not a bad event

You only say it’s not bad because compared to what we’ve had so far in 2023 it’s better than average. Still really not that great an event.
