Harder monsters drop better gear, even if it's a struggle to kill them it's worth it. Also the shrine is much more effective now to reduce the downtime. Seems decent enough

If you want to make a smart remark, remake a new character, try to buy only stuff from Market Place and try to do a climb, see how this goes for you. Like I mentioned in my post if you have 100+ ee gear all over you for the different tiers, it benefits you greatly, because you get more exp and more magic+ to shrine. But if you need to shrine after every group and it barely drops any magicals you will find yourself stuck and frustrated.

I did this when the game was even harder than it is now, how do you think most people with 100+ ee gear got started in the first place?

It's also no secret that Paul wants this game to be team oriented so playing alone is supposed to be worse than playing solo

In order to play in group, there need to be enough active people to actually group with. From what I have seen in the past few days, the game has very low playerbase. Either way, I dont care much, I was just trying it out.

Yeah, most people join groups at level 1 and to go 71 in one sweep so finding people to group with at higher levels can be a pain.

Don't get discouraged though, worst case scenario wait a week and hope the next event will be more welcoming for newcomers

Aha, so I bring +1 user to the game, spend my RL time on it (we are not 15 year olds anymore) and I will wait 1 week for some half-brained event to expire so I can keep doing the above mentioned? Uhm, nah unlikely

Either that or get better gear, join a more helpful guild, find some friends ingame that can help... There are many ways to move forward within this game

Last time with monster difficulty i am sure Paul made mistake and Made it Like 200 monster difficulty or something. Then changed it back but keept the drop as it was 200% monster difficulty. Try tjeck his post in this topic

So u spent 2 fg on the game for ur 50 armor and 55 sword, u should have trouble even if game was 15% easier


BTW as to Adam's post on maps, out of the 20-25 that we saw last night the highest we saw was a tier 3, full explore 55+

The quality ie number of stats was definitely improved though, we saw a +10 statted tier 3

A cat is a wild animal that flies in the sky... ooops sorry, I thought we were saying random stupid sentences. Do you guys even think before writing something? Go in the Market Place and try to buy 50/55 armour/wep with EE for 2 fg total? Also learn to read, because I already mentioned that starting as a BRAND NEW player, I managed to climb for 2 days (playing after work few hours a day). Since this event I spent 3 times more time with 0 result, same gear, same class.

This comment is not intended for elitist idiots with blinds on their eyes, it is intended for smart people who can consider the different levels of gear / involvement into the game / experience of player / and game experience that the player deserves.

I will repeat again, make a new character, enter the Market Place and try to do a climb with only what is available there, without your guildmates boosting your ass to 71 in an hour, like most of you people do.
