Item drop means less magical

Item stat means higher stats

Well all we can tell is that:
Stat Quality = rolling higher stats (but if this mean within it's tier and so on, we dont know)
Drop Quality = Has a chance to roll a higher tier (u will notice it alot more in groupclimbs) It could also be that we get more magical+ items (which i personally believe as i see far more arcane+ items during those events)

I would say in my extensive soloing experience would agree with your thoughts on drop quality. It’s most likely both tier and magical quality being boosted.

Is that enough extra XP to gain levels fairly quick?

I imagine it’s great for those that are lvl 1 and want to start fishing…..not so much for those above lvl 10 imo….

Umm what does how far you are into fishing have anything to do with the xp you gain towards character level?

skilling xp event mods are all trash

I can only assume that it takes longer to catch the fish at higher levels.

I dont really think I noticed a major difference in time it took to catch my minimum level fish between starting and my rank 14 fishing but I could be wrong. I think alot of it would have to do with the quality rods you use too though
