Voted yes.

Besides the gear you have or not, the important thing is to try to give people multiple ways to play.
Every game has usually an Easy - Normal - Hard mode, I would consider adding that and fixing the easy mode into a real easy one (2 regs 1 ep) Normal as it is (3 regs 3 eps) and Hard mode (up to you, like 1-9 normal and 1-6 eps).

This will make the game in my honest opinion more comfortable to new players and to the ones who want to experiment and risk a bit more.

I have to disagree with the assumption that the game is easy, if you start with nothing, not a guild not a single item the game is hard in solo even after 30 (Bufcore is an example) and not everyone is able to afford 100k+ gear (I'm talking about regular one, not super good gear which will be 500+k).

Those are my 2 cents.

I can't "play more than 1 MQ per year" because I don't have a MQ weapon, and that's the best gear I have. Seriously, stop with the pathetic ad hom attacks and stay on point here. We are talking about how imbalanced the game is, not my gear or how often I play. You think the game is fine, but Dante and I do not. Dante's gear is better than average and yet he says it's too tough. I say that does not surprise me at all; you say he's just a wimp, bla bla. So who is wrong? You are because (1) you always run in full groups (very easy to do on SC), and (2) you have the top 1% gear. Yet you think the game is fine! WTF? You are exactly like a spoiled little girl who thinks the world revolves around you.

The game definitely needs fixing. A lot. If it were fixed right, a lot more people would be able to play, which would lead to the game itself growing instead of being dead and averaging 20 players a day.

Sorry to blast your world, but I actually do play solo - even with crippled builds that you wouldn't even consider playable.
But whatever - you got your opinion and I have mine. I think I already posted a lot of ways you could try to improve your experience.

Maybe just a few little word to leave it here:

SC or HC literally is no difference. It is the same game after all. The only difference is that a risky decision is final in HC so you may chose to not play as risky as you would in SC as you can lose more time spent.
So you need to find a balance between risk and progress. Is the risk going to level 83 higher than 73? Yes definitly, but you also get stronger classes to deal with it. Do you need to play solo? No. Do you need to explore every level? No.

Bolded part just goes to further underline the fact that your gear is so far above average that you can make broken builds work... You arent doing yourself any favors. I always love watching the elite 1% tell the 99% that they are the problem.

Clearly a YES here.

Even reaching lvl 77 or 79 is really dangerous already, i get it done without dying on either realms, but i have pretty good gear on sc and also on hc.
Dantes gear is great for hc.

Many cant afford what we have.

Is it not wanted, that new players, who are often even willing to invest several k fg (which is really much for the most), have a chance to enjoy the game?
I would like a bigger ls-community, but there are many hurdles, smaller and bigger ones, which make new players stop slashing, before they really started.

OH FUCKING HELL YES...

Oh look who's back in town for a chat... oh here comes the shit storm... jokes.

I asked for this to be implemented like when it got introduced... what happened... Paul comes in around the 3rd post... said it wasn't going to happen and just shut the fucking thread down.

Now that I see this here got 8 pages of replies either negative or positive... I throw my hat in.

Paul does not know how this game works properly... hence he doesn't have a clue about what CAN happen in Hardcore and 5 times higher chance of death... he needs to test it out with gear and information from others how to get further in hardcore on Robe builds that play above level 75... and yes... you can get 1 hit killed by 3 normal mobs when they have certain abilities like hitting you 5 times with crit, etc.

@ Cartrack... you are still being the little fucktard as usual... don't make me repeat myself, I have no hesitation of saying it again.
@ PWB3 ... your points are valid for you and your ASSUMPTIONs... it is different for people with different gear... I know for a fact, that level 75 up gets nasty for average to good gear, I also know that at level 80, the monsters get worse.

So... no tier upgrades... there should be one for level 65 (not 60) to progress better, safely.

Anyone that wants to disagree with me... come at me... just remember this... WHEN (when) I play, my gear is mediocre in comparison to many, but I can still get there, and that is because all my builds compensate by being hybrid melee / heal (for Monk / Ninja).

OH... I am out now... will respond the next time I come back... hmm maybe another month.... :D


EDIT: oh yeah... to some of the fucktards that voted no because they just don't know shit... here is a carrot, now stick that up where the sun don't shine and ROTATE HARDCORE.
