I respond like someone who wants to keep enjoying this game and who has to put up with many jerks calling the kettle black.

Haha. We all have to act like Rex or we aren't authentic. People come from different backgrounds with different experiences and different genes. There is no rule of how to act.
With all your stupid suggestions and the way you have posted in the forums with your opinion and mathematics I'd say I have to call you a hypocrite. It's not my call. It is Paul's call. Do you see him responding?

I have more haters than you...I win =)
I think we're about even to be honest. Maybe if you go offer on 2 or 3 items like 20 fg + make a spam thread you'll be in the lead again :D .

As usual, I agree with Gunslinger on this point. Of course there are always exceptions, but really, I don’t really run into the problem PhiRip is taking about here too much:

Add a search feature to the mail system that allows people to place minimum that their mailbox will always accept for x amt of fg. (ex: skillers buying skillables for x amt of fg) would take up much less space on people actual mp so players can add more than skillables to sell on their mp.

My theory for the reason there are hardly ever good items on the mp is: Players put more weight into putting 1-3 fg skillables on the mp ahead of anything else they would want to sell. Reasons being:
That 1-3 fg is almost always guaranteed profit for skillables. Some days skillers don't buy the skillables and they are stuck on your mp. Well before you know it your mp is filled with 1-3 fg skillables as well as your vault with the ones you are saving to put on the mp afterward.
No new gear that isn't skillables ends up making it onto the mp. Therefore the mp will end up bare as it is now. Even with the implementation I just suggested it could be taken advantage of so it would require some tweaking. I think the best way for the mailbox to happen would be to make it linked to your vault. (Must have enough vault slots for all items mailed) With that said it would have to cost fg to open the mailbox. Idk just a thought.

The mailbox idea itself is basically a shell for much more new content to go with it. Don't think of the mailbox idea as the basic thing originally presented, but all the future adds that could be included in makiing the mailbox something everyone could enjoy.

...because there is no limit to the number of items you can list on the MP for 20+ fg... sure sometimes I waste 1 fg increments in bunches because I’d rather list an item worth 5 fg for 20 fg rather than delete it... but at least it’s up there in case someone really wants it...

Of course what most people are talking about here doesn’t seem to be the primary goal of this suggestion...

The goal is to remove the possibility of snipe, even inadvertent sniping, which I assure you is very possible when buyer and seller are not completely in-synch, or one has a laggy internet connection, or there are a lot of players searching the market place, or obviously if the item is listed before the buyer is ready. Individually, per transaction, the odds of an inadvertent snipe are very low, but with the number of trades that go on, it can and does happen. Since I often search the marketplace for 19+ fg items, I have several times bought items at the intended sale price where I was not the intended buyer (that I know of, but there may have been other times that I am not aware of since people do not always make a topic or ask around). In these cases when I find out I ask both buyer and seller to confirm that the trade was intended with PM string or topic to ensure that it was not a random listing, and as long as it checks out, which it always has, I relist the item for the intended buyer at the cost of an additional fee if the item was expensive enough for it to matter (so that I don’t have to eat the fee... which means the original parties need to eat it twice).

I’m not sure that this mailbox thing is the best solution for the problem, but it is definitely an issue that has caused me some inconvenience and disappointment in the past, and probably will continue to do so.

By the way, when you list items at good prices like that, they do get bought—good on you :) Basically, marketplace isn’t empty because no one lists items for fear of losing the fee... the marketplace is empty because the randomly listed good stuff at good prices are bought before you got a chance to see them on it ;)

Your response to those saying you scammed, suggests that you maybe guilty. That is what my post was about, if you can not back it up, don't respond and laugh it off, if you can not let it go, prove yourself. Who cares about life experiences and different genes, are you saying this to try and misdirect my comment? You even bring up my suggestion posts, so what does that have to do with you being accused of sniping and ripping off others? As for being a hypocrite about suggestions and Paul responding or not has nothing to do with it, Paul has implemented changes based around suggestions, they may not be exactly what was suggested, but, the similarity is the same... e.g. Doppelganger suggestion posted prior to Mirror Maze objective.

Keep posting misdirecting comments to mislead the actual content that people have accused you of sniping... as I stated, I don't know what is true or not, I just think your responses indicate your guilt.

This suggestion does have merit, it just needs more discussion around it based on what each person can see with either a pro or con, make a comment based around those things and you may actually come up with a consensus of how to make it more beneficial... it is of course still up to Paul to implement it if he wants or sees any benefit from it.

How could buying an item placed on the marketplace ever be a scam?
Why are people still going on about this?
I mean the accuser hides his items for a reason.

That is EXACTLY what he does, what he has done to me. He'd just throw homophobic slurs my way completely out of the blue and make homophobic comments, ask questions about my sexuality, for no reason at all other than just to misdirect me from the issue at hand.

Do NOT respond to him anymore. Just treat him like a bratty little kid that needs to be whacked really hard in the head. Many times. You're wasting your time trying to reason with him. He is a TROLL and a s-head.

Just let it go, you all bring this up constantly and it is pointless, sniping breaks no rules and it never has, so do you post for 8 months about some one selling to a higher bid after you bin an item on d2?
This is the equivalent.
Why must such a tiny community have endless drama over trivial stuff?
Just let it go like in that Disney movie the lion king.

Its not illegal for me to bid crazy amounts of fg on an item only to back out once it is posted costing the user the value of the fee, but it is pretty sketchy. If you want to be the kind of person who does sketchy things, feel free but at the same time don’t be surprised if it comes back to bite you later.
