bo.clerc - Back when I was new to the site me and bo got off to a rough start. He mistook me for something that I wasn't and I feel that I am a better person for it. Because of the dispute I pursued meeting him and clearing it up and eventually joined his guild where I met a lot of good people. Originally he is the one that convinced me to play Ladder Slasher. He loaned me some equipment for Rogue caster climbing that unfortunately the potential of wasn't fully realized until much later in the games history, and even more unfortunately was deleted accidentally by JayKwik some time ago. I wish we were still in contact but unfortunately we don't talk often anymore. I truly thank this user because if it weren't for him I may have never tried this game (which I thought was stupid when it first got released, still do actually :lol:) and may have never met some of the wonderful people that I now call friends.
Natester - One of the few people outside of blood relation that I consider to be family. When I first started using DC and Empire ventrilo I was nervous but eventually I met some people and started frequently joining the server to talk. At this time I had temporarily retired from Ladder Slasher, but seeing the way they all worked together motivated and inspired me. I wanted to be a part of the fantastic dynamic which Empire had. Those were the glory days so to speak, though we are still a force to be reckoned with on all counts. In my time with Empire we eventually decided that we would like to meet in person and did so, along with my cousin prophet785 and Skip, hapycmpr. Sadly as time passed Empire members grew apart and I eventually made the decision to leave. This error in judgement has since been adjusted and I am gladly displaying the Empire guild tag once again. This is my home.
Datis - Datis was one of the regulars of the DC / Empire vent when I started to use it. He was a tremendous inspiration to me. Though our views differ in many ways, whether it be due to culture, age, or other reasons, I always have had respect for this user. Datis possesses knowledge and experience that he shared with me at a young age and quite honestly had an impact on me as a person. He may not know it, but he had an active hand in forming the person that I am today.
These are the main people who got me started, though starting this game can often be easier than keeping with it. For that I have many people to thank, too numerous to list but most of them should know who they are and how I feel.
