I had roughly 1500fg when I first came to LS, and I had no idea if I even wanted to invest much of it, nor knew ANYTHING about what to buy. Lucky for me I ran into NevV and he took time out of his day many many times to help me with practically anything and everything possible. I owe most of me being here to him, and I try to live up to his kindness and respect for both the new player and the veterans.

I shudder to think if I had run into certain other people instead, I highly doubt I would have lasted.

Just give that some thought before you kick someone who is new and does not have gear and does not understand the game. Not all of them will just "hit 'n run."

I do heal as required. I carry a focused heal for every 5th lvl, and use them to save non-healing casters asses if I have enough mana for the job

I don't think it's too much to ask a mana-rich caster to carry heals as well

As to replacing my armors? Fine and dandy if you can find a combo that ups my tanking capability as well as keeping my killing capability -- I am always on the lookout for this, but no luck so far.

This is what I have seen since 1.20 was first released.

"OMFG, you can shrine in town... no need to heal woot"
"OMFG, this shrining thing is so awesome I sell of some heals"
"NNH, I just shrine"
"WTF, everyone is selling their gear"
"OMFG, this game is too easy, nubs can join and get to MQ in like 4 hours, so gone are the days when it took a week to do an MQ"
"OMFG, 1.20 etc, etc, etc"

I can guarantee that alot of the postees in this thread have stated or felt the same way, NOW, it is the opposite.

The main concern of this thread would be more suited to NEW players that do not know better, but most of the comments
are by those that have the gear and know the game... it seems that everyone (including myself) has an opinion to give feedback.

End Note:
I agree with Rick in the circumstances that he is in a game with 2-3 new players that know nothing
I agree that no heals are really needed from levels 1-15 when you are in a good group that are organised

Edit: Oh, and I have been told in a few runs early in 1.20 that they did not need my heals, so I got rid of some of the lower ones, now
it seems that ppl are doing the opposite.
