Also, remember any financial arguments need to include that Paul COULD be making literally millions if he allowed ads, which he does not.

But I agree, his inactivity in the ladder slasher forums is a bit disheartening, but maybe he's got real life issues or w/e.

I still slash, decent way to kill free time and dead time (for me, when you have to be away from your family, even if you are doing nothing)

There is a new one of these same threads going up at least 2-3 times a week now. Its getting rediculous. Everyone is saying the site is changing, well obviously it is this thread is still open. 1 year ago this thread would of been closed and warns would of been handed out. My how things change. It seems like the general consensus is the this update is disliked for basically the same reasons(no arena, no prof, solo catas, shitty casters, etc...) I myself hate the fact that there is no arena/well. I'm hoping that the rest of this update comes out soon and will revive the game some. All i want is a viable way of soloing and a little equality between it and grouping. The fact that this was always mainly a single player game, up until the last few updates drives me nuts to think Paul would take all of that away. I mean shit the game was out for like 2 years before multiplayer was even introduced. I have made it through just about all of the updates(inb4 you quit 12 times) i just can't let it go i love this game. Not so much as it is now but it is really a great time consumer. It was nice when i did nothing but sit infront of the comp all day. Its nice now when i get a couple hours a day to play. Unfortunately 2-3 hours sometimes isn't enough time to do a climb. Getting stuck at awkward levels blows just waiting and hoping for a good group to come along. Even though the update isn't what people were hoping for nor expecting it has its highlights. I personally am just hoping Paul will see and hear the communities voice on this one and give us a viable way to solo even if it is in catacombs. I have come to realize the more we "bitch" about stuff the less Paul seems to care what we think. The sad part is half of these updates were what people wanted done, just not in a way they expected. People wanted the vaule of items increased, he took away muting. People were whining about snipers, he gave us the vault. I wish we could play old versions. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only playing season 9 all over again. /end incoherent rant
