even if it looks like resummoning a lvl 1 mob to me

no chain, no dmg taken, but i think this is still legit

You have to ask yourself if he'd think of that though. He used a stat lvl 20 leather .. I just put on a 110ee lvl 20 leather (55vit/57int statted) and summoned over 20 monsters at lvl 37, and every single one did significantly more damage than 5 (what he took) within 1-2 hits. That being said he had to have been facing a lvl 1 monster to make it possible. The chances of a lvl 1 monster hitting for 5 damage against his level 20 leather are very low considering the monster might get one hit in if it's lucky before he one-shots it.

If he was indeed summoning level 1 monsters repeatedly to get this (1 hit kills at a fast rate of resummoning), that means he was able to read the name and SS the pic while his damage was still fully up and visible?

The part I find to be most unbelievable is the name even duplicating itself since it's probably about a 1 in a million chance. Guess I'm just a bit skeptical that anyone could ever win one of these contests without cheating.

i figure the odds of finding the right pic.. is just about the same as passing a warlock or hh .. not alchy.. thats even longer odds.

JB and arxyn's guide lists 70+ possibilites for each of 3 sections of mob names. The name you picked has 2 parts which aren't even on that list, which leads to the assumption that that list is rather incomplete (maybe as many as 100+ names in each of the 3 sections)

That means each section of name has let's say 1/100 chance of happening. If that's true then just the same as passing doors you'd run a formula like 1/6 * 1/5 * 1/4 .. etc, except in this case the chances don't improve for the next name if you happened to get the first right.

It'd be something like 1/100 * 1/100 * 1/100, which is a 1 in a million chance. Unless there's something wrong with that math (might be since I've been out of school for years and don't do this type of thing on a regular basis) then that should be fairly accurate. Only Paul would be able to tell us the exact chances.

Sorry for my skepticism.

His clock is off
His level 35 char has roughly 90 kills per level/0 deaths (As we all know, it is like 38ish monsters per level in Arena)
His level 22 char has roughly 92 kills per level/0 deaths
He clearly stated this took him 7 hours, and I know for a fact that this in Arena does not take 7 hours, let alone in Cata.
Tizzoe brought the difference in graphic to the table(not sure if that is quality evidence or not, but it is there)
He posted and left, just like Salaki did.
And if he was just killing level 1 mobs, then that defeats the whole purpose of this contest. To better yourself with proficiencies while having a chance to gain a lump some of fg.

This just brings in more leaching bafoons...
