yes it seems to come out to about the same prof gain per time so it's actually worse if someone wants to increase prof, if they don't have an abundance of items to do so

Less prof but you can burn through mutes faster making more ess quicker. If you're super backed up muting or have a bunch toward the end of your range you can get about normal xp for higher tiers. Its good unless ranking up is your only goal.

yep i think u only get 1/(100+Faster Transmuting)*100 * base exp
