I vote start over. No gear. You can keep profs but that is it.

But climb is meant to be hard. To be honest, climb like Buf is watching.

Buf climbs were not my idea....not sure who suggested it back in 2013. All I remember is that Low-ki and I were one of the first to do it. We raced but I think he beat me to mq.

I just think if ladder resets so does your gear....again the climbs are a tribute to a great slasher ie Buf.

Does this apply with a failed Guardian MQ on first attempt? If so... damn that is harsh as bro... ;P

EDIT: actually, for anything other than a Guardian, you have to climb naked... think about it... you pass to samurai and start with NO gear, would like to see you kill something with a fist that ONLY does 0 damage.

Basically, it doesn't work unless you mule over Tier I white items for a Samurai on your first climb in case you pass, then you would have to do the same for a Paladin if you want to do it again... Bufcore never went in to the "pass" MQ situation... so maybe new rules on passing or re-rolling... considering, a re roll of a character (feeder) is allowed and can use previously found gear. You don't have to MQ, and you can still use the gear you found during a Bufcore run.
