To stop farming... now, from what I read earlier in the pages, another change is about to happen where in a group that wants to HUNT shamans for example, WON'T happen because of a new Nerf where once this objective is encountered, and the "Hunter" (person still with that objective) leaves the game to remake a new one for the group to hunt "Shamans" again (even if the other 4 completed it) for drops.

Yup... goodbye hunting grounds, it is just get to MQ and repeat / rinse. Note: don't know if any other new adds will replace hunting grounds.

That got nerfed when he added no shamans past 46.

We would farm shamans for high level whites but when he made the update to •drops” he nerfed or ability to farm shamans st high level

Paul has quite the track record of being anti-loot farmers or anything that gives drop boosts.

Removed arena
Broke muting
Removed in town well
Broke ambush drops due to farming practices
Reduced nmnm spawn rates drastically
Made wells breakable
Broke shaman spawn level with a cap
Nerfed nmnm further

Can’t wait to see what he decides is too good loot next.

They should just get rid of catacombs and group runs, have solo whistling only, make the experience earned much lower so it takes forever to get to 71 (or higher), and lower both the drop rate and drop quality from the clearly way too high whistle drop rates we currently have. Also remove fishing/muting/glyphing/suffusencing as well since these are way too OP. Also, give every item in the game negative benefits as well, so that 180++ ee weapon you have also gives -hit point percent or greatly slower the attack rate so you swing that dagger once every few minutes!

Awesome idea(s). Thing is... with the new D2R release, the regular players are not online and you can NOT even sustain your Vault unless you get Forum gold from another source... D2 / D2R or whatever... there isn't any Forum Gold to be made NOW for those that just play LS.

SHRINES) to even have a chance to buy 25 slots @ X amount of forum gold for 30 days when during that time I may (or not) be on for like 10 days out of 30).

People say there is NO difference in Mechanics for SC or HC... they are correct. (I am NOT arguing with you).
The difference is simple ... Gear (Equipment) mortality rate... there isn't any for SC or HC OTHER THAN death and item is lost (this being HC), so, with SC, why aren't the items LOSING X% durability to the Enhanced Effect or Stats when a death occurs like you see with your Proficiency / Experience?

Love the game, like the idea and potential to where it can be better for all, just don't like the round a bout way that most good things are nerfed that only benefit SC.

Like I said over 10 years ago.... SC & HC need their own Servers with different mechanics. But then, what would I know, I am just a scrub that plays the game like a Gambling Addict that does not want to lose out.

The only thing i wanna comment, is the whole idea of having durability on items. If that were to happen, with NO other changes, it would completely ruin this game. Its hard enough to find good/solid gear as it is. Much less noting that absolute perfect high end gear does not even exist. So all that would happen, unless repairing would be an option, which would be expensive im sure, would be that all our current items, would be broken and useless and we wouldnt be able to play.

True statement... so then can I make a change... if on SC, the player dies, the EE% or Stat DROPS by a %... BUT... BUT... once they have COMPLETED a Master Quest, the items true EE or Stat value returns. Basically it is like Re - Rolling your character, but this also applies.

Hope that makes sense for SC... and I know it does not fix or alter what I stated, but it will also diminish "Death Farming" because their EE / Stat items lose % per death on SC.
