Well, that's how this game works. You ask for the shrine to be changed, it fucks everyone else who didn't complaint about it. Worst update ever if you ask me... Crying about it won't help so deal with it and move on.
I would have preferred that md wasn't removed and was actually changed in a way that kept people happy and allowed Paul to take the game in the direction that he wanted. He fixed the things that completely broke the game and actually made it playable. But yeah, at the same time it was still just people crying about it (HC/SC). There was no element of constructive criticism, it was just people slam dunking the hell out of it. So, am I surprised that it was changed? No, not at all because people were just complaining. So yeah, I would probably have done the same thing in his position.
