Have always been curious about this. It always seemed like to me that I progressed faster during events, but that's probably just an illusion :P

it feels more motivating if u ask me, as I can break down items into essences alot faster, or catch more fish or w/e

Thats how i see it. Cause honestly if im fishing/muting/cooking my goal isnt to gain tons of prof, but to gain tons of whatever im doing.

I agree. Definitely more motivated to mute during events vs not. It just seems like it's going so fast, next thing you know I'm out of mutes
