Like boom start tutorial maybe just like when Its MQ time , it's a special door/area just to be completed once and it disappears.

First chest when tutorial starts tier III's 30EE for everything you picked. Same for 5,10, etc new chests keep opening. They have special names. Novice sword etc.

Can't sell them, can't trade them can only transfer or delete. Don't even have the option to group/cata

Tutorial HAS to be done first. Except each monster is beyond /easy 1. They die quicker, you level WAY faster and when you get to MQ you don't get any guild points.


Then the game unlocks as we know it, tutorial island is long gone never to be seen again. You're given a full (shitty) novice set and know how and where to make them better. Quick overhaul and a nice new website just dedicated to ladder slasher as a whole would make a huge difference

It wouldn't affect 95% of the community but it would sure as hell help the 5% that need it (small guilds and solos) would seriously make a huge difference in retention and people staying and playing longer.

I am 100% convinced all "new" players are just bored on multis looking for freebies and a new outlook or people that got scammed/hacked/locked

It's a dying game. Far more people leaving then starting. We could see an influx of 500+ people very easily this way

And for the MQ maybe during tutorial you pick 1
That's it, but as soon as mq is passed .( Maybe it's 1 door, 1 key) you unlock all the starting champs. That way you know what can drop for who and what class etc during the tutorial. Or perhaps make it so it's only rogue, or barb, there is definitely a good opportunity here

I think a lot of the D2 players forget the difference to why reset on D2 brings in more player base (well it doesn't really).

#1 Botting
#2 Multiple characters in same game
#3 Fast Level up BOT games
#4 Specific areas that drop specific items more regularly (i.e. Runes)

Now, as for the player base being high and trading traffic boosts, that is simple, it is because all the Websites that sell off D2 items for $$$'s start up their bots again and run their dupe methods.

Simply put... this is not D2 and no it would not bring in more player base like people think when they compare LS to D2.

The people trading on the site right now are not all running bots though

Even 1 bot is 1 too many, as it spoils the game for honest players

Should tell that to a few on this game who are botting skills or were botting climbs (no names will be mentioned)

Yup, this old thing again. You are aware that a lot of Bots on D2 run for Websites trading D2 items for $$'s and use people playing the game to trade off their items to other sites like JSP to buy up gear to fill in their orders. It is simple, they just pay them by setting them up with gear and ensuring they have funds to continue.

You will get to see these people more regularly every new season constantly selling runes or partially created runeword items in Top end finds... like 15% ED Armor to make Enigma with the last rune for buyer to make so that it becomes perm.

I haven't played D2 online for over 3 years now, but I still see the same traders trading same items each season on East & West.

With LS, this won't ever happen ... and I like this game for that simple reason.

Maybe insteed of a reset we need other ideas such as
new character
new charms
new armor
new weapons
adding runes
adding gems
adding new stats
We need new stuff maybe.that might bring people
