What "people" and what type of "climbs" are you referring to? Solo can manage fine without heal charms. Hell, we did it for years before heal charms even existed, and death was inevitable in those days. Regen gear was valuable, too.

These days? Many prefer to ignore the accessory slot when soloing melee, and simply use the shrine. Afterall, I don't know about you, but I feel safer exiting the catacombs in an emergency than trying to heal if I'm not a caster.

As far as groups without healers? Most are 5 level groups, and few if any such groups last past level 40ish. There may have been a rare case or two of tank based groups, with 5 excessive tank builds black tracking and simply not needing the heals, but if so, I've not heard or seen of such. Most of the power groups include at least one warlock, who picks up heals (reluctantly) when needed.

Anyhow, since you believe the game is so easy, you should probably just solo. get three 3 wave eps in 3 squares on monk or ninja, and tell us all again how "easy" you thought it was.

BTW, sp_patl, what's your beef with softcore players? I've looked through all that hardcore gear you have, and I can say with absolute certainty that there have been plenty of players I've seen on softcore who'd quite cheerfully sell their soul for comparable gear for themselves... On softcore. Perhaps, if you feel things are too easy, you should simply sell all your gear, keep all your chars, and go ironman, yes? Use only what you find. Might be years before you have any further "easy" complaints, yes?

This made me laugh harder than I have in a while, thanks for that. It's easy for some very dedicated old slashers but keep in mind new people join every day. If it didn't get easier the longer you played then what's the point?

the game must be harder for everyone or ez to everyone. If the difference is too big a new commer wont play because he will feel totally unfair. And pro slashers wont play with a noob because the game is ez.

Look at the group type. I remember talking to them about what was used, and basically you had some of the top caster gear in the game, multi cast, all black track, and no drop box allowed.

It's sort of like Arnold Swartzenagger going to a gym and lifting naught but 5 pound dumb bells for an hour.

And if that's the kind of game a person prefers? Then they're welcome to offer UA the 15 million fg it'd take them to sell their gear, and they can do it themeselves.
