this is 100% self-righteousness....

nitpick all you want... everyone that is whining about the drops getting grabbed by anyone other then themselves is just greedy
thats all there is to it

That's not necessarily true.
My guild usually costs me around 2,000 fg a month to run. I have to make fg somehow and I certainly don't need or want some unscrupulous user taking advantage of the system at the expense of my efforts.

the argument isn't about wealth, it's about having the same chance as EVERYONE in the party to grab something as simple as a shrineable.

It''s because your suggestion sucked.
Your wording is awful and for every wrong reason. Really, if all drops were how you wanted it, we would grab so much shit it would not be productive at all.

I have no problems at all with the previous positions. You did.

most items had long enough names so you could pick them when clicking the mobs anyway. i doubt there would be a significant increase of junk in our inventories with that change.
maybe you should have used the down button instead of spamclicking if you have problems with junk in your inventory

and what's preventing you - someone who is clicking the item faster? again, sounds like a simple solution
theres so many things ways around your problem (notice, i say your problem, not a game flaw) and you're too stubborn to seek other avenues - this is a you issue, not a game issue

if you cant figure out how to avoid this issue, i'll make you a list:

1.) Play in the arena
2.) Play in catacombs with friends only
3.) Play in catacombs with guild-mates only
4.) Play solo catacombs
5.) Use the /kick command if people are not pulling their weight
6.) Set a drop order, if people don't follow /kick
7.) Stop whining and just play how you have been, but with less crying

but if you set rules at the beginnign then it should be a little bit better
