I know people used it for farming to some degree...but now it seems hard to make FG to buy/upgrade your characters gear.

How many items do you think that you'll actually find that are going to be really good or good enough to make a decent profit? My guess is not very many. I've seen many threads about people running catas or solo in arena for xx amount of climbs with no good drops. I guess people will have to rely on no maze caats and hope for decent drops.

muting was a great part of the game in my opinion. Maybe a some kind of change would be good to make it more difficult than it used to be, but this much of a drastic change? It seems like overkill....

anywho I'm still going to play LS, but if this is really how muting is going to be...screw that. That's wayyyyyy too much time and effort to be spent on a video game. And with how random these updates are...I can see people who are going to put in the time and effort for the new muting system, and then possibly finding themselevs being screwed over in future updates.

I'm a bit bummed, but it's paul's game and everyone will just need to adapt.  The only concern I have is that if it does take over a year to be able to mute 55's, there's gonna be a need to buy a LOT more vault slots in order to stash all these "worthless at the moment" items.  I guess some people will opt to throw them on the market for obscenely low prices (or maybe even shrine them :P), although I'm sure a few rich people out there will buy 10,000 vault slots and hope to reap the rewards down the road.
