open search, type device manager and enter...
find network adapters and expand it, to find your wired connection.
right click and select properties on your wired connection.
go to advanced tab and change the following settings.. anything i have not included in the following list is to be left alone. the ones listed below are the variable connection points within the adapter.

also going in to check your file system integrity is a good thing to do complete at least once a month, to help avoid operating system or file system corruption and also keep your system running as fast as it can.
>search
>cmd ( run as admin )
> type " sfc /scannow
let that process complete
type "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
let that process complete
type exit to exit the cmd prompt.
open windows update, complete any updates available, some mandatory updates will require going into "optional or advanced settings"
complete all of those, restart as necessary.
go back into windows update, and select "check storage".. ensure everything is selected aside from your personal downloads forlder. and cleanup your hard drive..
search.. defragment... and defrag your hard drive..
notes** iobit driver booster is one of my lazy go to's .. can update quite a few drivers with the free version instead of hunting down new ones through the manufacturers website. you can google and dl it if you want.
another utility i use is "glary utilities" you can run a free version however the pro version is quite good and exceeds anything ccleaner can do with the appropriate settings...
