Not sure what you are really going on about with my post after you pointing out great items with Dex + Int stats and me stating that a person can use or look for Dex + Heal Mastery items that can benefit their build if going for Melee / Heal while solo'ing.

Dex + Int gear is extremely rare and expensive, so an alternative is to buy Dex + HM gear and stat int appropriately for more of a comfortable run when using the Ability of Salvation.

I am lost in your composition of how it alters things when giving advice to new players that they have to test for themselves... I did not say your post was incorrect in anyway, nor did I point out any flaws of it, I only pointed out another avenue the player could look at that was a cheaper option.

Dex + HM gear cannot ever benefit your melee char in any meaningful way. Sure, it won't hurt to have an additional 10 or 20 hm on your gear, but it certainly won't make any difference. You should never pay extra for it unless it is a robe/staff with a solid int roll.

I am saying that it is wrong to advise new players to buy gear with hm because it won't help them in any way. They need intel and nothing else if they are going to take the path of using salvation with their solo climbs. Saying that you can also get get HM gear is strictly wrong. HM and int are not even close to being the same thing. Hm multiplies your base heal values, which is amazing if your are on a lock who has like 250 int. It's trash when you don't have a whole lot of int to boost your heals. HM on any melee char is complete garbage and does nothing at all.

Okay... I can see where you are coming from in terms of Aesthetics. But, where in my post did I say anything about over paying for Dex + Heal Mastery gear?

Your whole argument is about BUY/PAY, and I stated CHEAPER option.

Also... I know that INTELLIGENCE is the be all there is in comparison to Heal Mastery since the Nerf that Paul done in an update, but, Heal Mastery is NOT wasted when building a character that mainly Melee and use Healing as a backup.

Example: 35 base intelligence + 35% Heal Mastery will give you better Heal capacity vs 70 intelligence.

EDIT: prove me wrong... the testing was done but I have been awol for some time and maybe I am wrong.

I honesly don't even know why I am reply to this.. I feel like I am killing brain cells atm.

Aesthetics? What does that have to do with anything?

It has nothing to do with aesthetics lol, it has to do with the very simple fact that:

Intel: Increases the base values of your heal charm
HM: Adds to your EE (also known as enhanced effect if you didn't know that already?) honestly not sure anymore

So if you add intel the values of a white(wellable) charm goes up, are you still with me? That means that... wait for it... the more EE you have on your charm the bigger the boost you get based on how much intel you have? Still with me bruv? Oh rly? You don't say?

No, there is no scenario whatsoever where 35%hm/35 int would be preferred over 70 int, unless you have hit the prof cap and that is clearly not what you are talking about here.

If you don't get it by now, I am totally cool with leaving you clueless about it.

I thought you wouldn't understand it.

Yes... Intelligence is the be all end all best thing you can have as a secondary mod when Melee is your PRIME build and HEALING is a backup.

BUT, it isn't fully necessary if you WANT a CHEAPER option.

Your example of this Padded Robe:

Angelic spiderthread padded robe
Level Req: 55
Physical Defense: 0 to 39
Magical Defense: 33 to 84

+55 Dexterity
+13 Intelligence
+2% Damage Return
+7% Critical Flux

Is a superb example of buying something close or similar but Heal Mastery instead of Intelligence, in reality if the HM was 30% and dex being the same, you could still purchase it below the value of the item you posted, but yield even better results because the base intelligence is around the same amount producing better heal capacity vs that robe alone.

Doubt what I am saying... compare the tests based on that robe alone and compare it with % Heal Mastery and the Monks BASE intelligence... which robe will have a better heal capacity.

Again missing the keywords I posted in all my posts.

Intelligence is the best out of Int vs HM... but your items are so fucking rare I may as well contribute the next 15 years to obtain something similar by using FG or hopefully find the fucking item.

Basically... don't right off HM as a secondary mod at a cheaper price while spending the next 15 years to get something that is compatible to that robe you posted.

xxx... xxx ...xx x.x.x..xxx...xxx.. (rated) yup

i just copied it from the casting guide from mattias ....

(1 + (int - 5) / 100) * ( 1 + (ee + prof + mastery) / 100)*0.75

acc healing

with 35 base and 35 hm you have a multiplier of 2,29 ( 100ee )
with 35 base and 35 hm you have a multiplier of 2,78 ( 150ee )

vs

with 70 base and 0 hm you have a multiplier of 2,475 ( 100ee )
with 70 base and 0 hm you have a multiplier of 3,09 ( 150ee )

so int>hm as a hard fact...

on topic cant rly say much since i dont solo as melee

50-65 vita
rest int
go salvation till you start casting after that go mage abilites
but i could recommand lvl 1 - 35 ( or 45 ) go with melee gear and 45-mq casting

at this point combined 80 int and 130 ee charm should outdmg a 80dex and 130 dagger

If you choose to compare a single entity to a dual entity, you are going to get the wrong calculations.
I am NOT talking ACC slot? How does this compute in that example???

Base item:
Base Int:
= Base Heal Capacity
100% correct (Main slot)

Compare:

Base 35 Intelligence + 35% Heal Mastery
VS
Base 70 Intelligence
With same Base tier item... (fuck off with Enhanced effect)

EDIT: nvm... I guess all the testing when HM got nerfed got trashed as well since whistling dixie all day long runs came about. Let us just whistle dixie vs normal mobs and not worry about how much heal capacity we need because it is NOW FUCKING REDUNDANT for us so called Elites.

its a melee guide so isnt it, highly recommand to have a dex charm?

also why should i ignore ee? nobody use a white heal and 100ee its dirt cheap... if you cant use atleast 100ee dont even bother with melee+healing jsut go 100 vit and full dmg

hm = ee = prof = combined multiplier
while
int = single muliplier
