I'm not a new player but I did return to D2jsp last November and became a LS addict...
And I'm a 100% pure solo slasher who's died and started over a third time. It's difficult.
From my own experiences. The only reason I continue to play Ladder Slasher is to finish another climb.
This super fast ladder reset is a complete turn off for me. Was there even a notice in advance discussing it?
I was stuck at level 57 on another climb that I take great pride in, when the season just reset on me. It feels a little demoralizing.
If you're slashing in a group and you level super fast that's all fine and dandy. But some of us grind hard for every level we can get.
Anyway, enjoy the afternoon and evening. I need to unwind, relax and play some Heroes of the Storm. This reset was a tough curveball for me.
That aint nothing, I had a lvl 79 ninja and lvl 79 monk I planned to mq with tonight along with a barb I had lvl 65 when reset came
