Maybe it is a time to realise, that hc is dead. and paul should just merge hc into sc.

The bottom line is that the game is way too dependent on gear.

The gear that is in hardcore is mostly afk

Sooo that being said most hardcore players are in fact playing with self found items from this new season

Looks super fun

Not to mention the “buffcore players “ on softcore who do 6 month 1-71s

Naturally drop rates for good items would need to be higher for this to work. I'm not saying it's an easy solution, but I do think it's an option that could be explored.

However, since the game has worked in the current way for years, I dont think it would still be a good idea to change it around now. Many long time players would be pretty pissed about their lost investments.

I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. There is plenty of gear on HC available. There are no players though because the only people that play LS refuse to do so without insanely overpowered, best of the best, and impossible to find gear.

HC doesnt sound fun, I dont see any SC players complaining about the events
