You might be surprised to learn that some gamers are married, have jobs, kids and other real world responsibilities as well. Sadly not all of us can play video games 24/7
I'm married, work 50-60 hours a week, travel for work 15-20 hours a week, deal with the responsibilities of home ownership, play golf and ultimate frisbee, sleep 50ish hours a week. Factoring in time for eating and random things I don't have time for full climbs most weeks.
However, I still think 3 months(for a shorter season) is long enough. Even with the cards stacked against me, there is still an outside chance I get a luck streak and reset before guys who spend 12 hours a day on this game and watch the salt flow. Is it likely, no. Is it possible, sure. Can't say that for many games.
My post was less about any of that, but more about reminiscing about days where I thought 15-20 hours on a video game was trivial. It has been awhile. Retirement can't come fast enough.

Those that want to play higher class could just simply play Hardcore... might be a struggle at first, but the game is different now to ages ago.
Agree, year 3 on the hardcore season or something like that. Plenty of time to make it to the higher classes
