MOST of the good gear there is today is from transmuting back in the days. Not that they have been found.
It is hard to roll an item today in muting because there is 40 different stats and not 22-25 it was back in the days.

Back in the days mystical 35s sold for 30fg+
mystical 55 sold for almost 100fg.

THAT IS THE MAIN DIFFERENCE.

DROPS HAS NOT CHANGED
FARMING THEM HAS, GROUPS WANT GUILD POINTS AND FAST CLIMBS, THEREFORE STUFF DONT DROP.

AMBUSH & NMNM BOTH GOT NERFED, THEREFORE IT'S HARDER TO GET ALOT MORE MID TIER ITEMS.
IF U WANT TONS OF 55s FARM SHAMANS!

Idk if you saw this in the original post but the underlying message had a lot to do with things being very very difficult for beginners to even play in such a way as to have a CHANCE at decent drops.

They can't group - experienced players don't want them to slow climbs
They can't explore - EPs or quest mobs are difficult with beginner gear

I saw you caps lock yell "just farm shamans!" Like everyone can find groups to do so.

The way that you are able to play, and the game that you play, are far far different from the game that beginners or even hardcore players can play.
