The faster the climb the more climbs someone can do and the more gps they can do.

Let me break it down like this:

Glitch MM:

Don't have to explore a huge map.
Don't have to fight hard monsters. (the final part)
More gps in a shorter amount of time.

Doing a run with full no-explore:

Don't have to explore a huge map.
Don't have to fight hard monsters. (evil presences)
More gps in a shorter amount of time.

So again should everyone that has ever done a full black climb have their gps reset?

running black is part of the game design, hence why there are no eps or quests if you stay black
i have never done mm due to the fact it takes 4 hours to even have a chance, why is it fair that i spent 10k in gear to do mm
where someone can use tier 3 gear to accomplish the same thing

mik, at best you are saving 90 seconds every 5 levels by "glitching" the two xp quests
adding 10-25 gpz to the count in less than 25 minutes is like saving days of slashing...

Being able to have someone 4 levels ahead of you join your game is part of the game design.
And i've done MM 3 times, you don't have to have good gear to do it the "right way" either.

Ppl buy better items, cuz they want faster climbs, which is equal with more gps, so at the most I'd say bigger punishment for gps exploit
(Maybe it's not that much of a problem like it was with Arena, but still, the more, the better items certain guild possesses, the more gps it gains)
Gps are actually the main thing here, even though some ppl won't admit it and hide it under so called "guild comradery". There's no way ppl would waste so much time for this game if it was only about e-friends. It is a nice bonus and probably the only one which has some real value here, but it wouldn't be like that without a spicy taste of rivalry.

neither should be punished. If it shouldn't be done this way then shouldn't paul fix it?

why keep it in the game for months then just decide to punish the people who used it.

that's like showing someone a super epic weapon then ignoring it for a few months then punish everyone who used it claiming it's there fault.

Obv the game is supposed to be played this way other wise the glitch would be fixed by now or paul would publically state that it's a glitch and shouldn't be used.
or there is always the option that maybe paul just doesn't give a shit.

It's actually this kind of logic which I could accept, but what's done is done, benell has been punished, so now ppl want the same for others and it's perfectly understandable, don't you think?
