my earth prof has been @ 23 since the removal of arena. Not only because prof is near non-existant, but because the game has only one objective anymore: MQ. Drops aren't even an objective, it's a bonus.

it's like comparing Squaresoft and Square Enix... The Matrix and the sequels... Batman and Robin... Boss and Haider.......oh wait

Let me just say one thing... changes to the game does not make the player... only the player makes the changes to their gameplay.

sorry but if you go to the carnival only to find that the BEST ride was taken away and only a bunch of kiddie shit was left, i'm not going to adapt. i'm going to lose faith in that carnival until i hear of something that will interest me.

why would i force myself to adapt to something that had all of the fun erased from it? i can't just say "okay FloppyWaffles, the thing that you enjoyed most is gone. now what? ADAPT!!! THAT'S WHAT!"

why do you think there are a million sellout threads in which no one can sell their amazing gear?
a. no one wants to buy gear because there is too much gear, and there is enough gear within the groups of people who DO play for it to be passed amongst the group
b. there are fewer consistent players now
c. tons of people are quitting or have quit, while only a fraction of that number have joined the game since then
d. inflation
e. all of the above, with b and c being the most prominent

If you took under consideration how it looks in our country, then you should say "quit and be w/o job or adapt an be happy with what you have, cuz better something than nothing"

except in this example, there are dozens of games that offer more and cater to its players' desires.

i still have no idea why arena was erased

with the number of players back then ( I remember 150-300) it was ok to introduce ladderslasher as multiplayer game
but with merely 50 members there needs to be a option to play solely without the need of some days for a single MQ

if arena would return, we had more players soloing.
would't fit Pauls plans since he wanted it to be a multiplayer game.
so arena and players will stay out until theres a viable way to solo
