We slashers who have been around a long time WILL w8 for the updates because we have way too much invested not to...new players WILL NOT 

As far as advertising goes..you cannot tell people about a game and have them come and slash when they HAVE NO FG AND CAN'T MAKE ENOUGH for better gear!

Sure they can grab some crap items and try to slash but most will give up when they see..they get NO REWARD for their efforts really.  99% of the items they do find

are worthless except as shrinables and they can't find an attraction in the game (ie) making a bit of fg every climb to improve themselves...hence getting kicked from a lot

of games. Some of us have taken people under their wings...helping them climb/donating fg/gear...but it is not enough. Rus asked how we could bring in new slashers

not how the game should be played or whether we should be nice to people. The game as it is now is far better than it was but there still needs to be a way for people

to get attracted to a game and KEEP them playing and THAT is making in-game gold at a far faster rate than 1fging your self to death..That is JUST not enough and people

who say it is are idiots. Why do people rush off to play other games when they reset (ie) d2..so they can MAKE FG.. so they can KEEP playing this one.  Most skillers here make 0 fg from

spending HOURS and HOURS at skillling when other games give rewards for putting in the time. Most slashers here been playing the game for a few years now and we will sit

and w8 for the next update but some even have to start selling good gear JUST to keep slashing. Game play does not need to be altered imo although i am sure there are things

coming that will change that as usually happens in an update.  Give people a NEW way to make some FG so that they are ATTRACTED to the game in the first place and are rewarded for

staying. As far as being nice to others...you know i am

I'm not gonna lie, I miss a viable-worth-my-time-way of playing this game solo even with 2 people drops are just ridiculous. The removal of the arena 'as originally intended' has had the biggest impact to my slashing and my want to really slash.

The whole discussion about having good gear, or not is kinda obsolete in my opinion as it doesn't really matter anymore how good your gear is not to the extend as it used to matter I have a pretty nice reset-set but if I compare my feel of the game playing with someone with mediocre gear say 70-100ee stuff I don't see myself excelling like I used to when I would play arena. Having nice gear is cool and pretty but it's not a necessity anymore.

There is no way to replace a full nice setup if you rip on hc anymore, al though ripping in this version of the game is kinda hard with a good group but still I am sure if ChrisNouns was still on hardcore I'd be dead already.

I know the common response to this will be, if you don't like it or enjoy it just quit bladiebladiebla... But the players from day1, hc/sc or that have been around for several seasons pre-this update thingy have invested so much either time, money, or both that makes it just a waste to give it up.

Ah well just my 2 cents

Do i have to remind you rus that you in your start found a 2xx ee lvl 45 heal charm that brought you over 40k fg ?  If you can be that lucky then everybody has their chance to getting that lucky.  And 40k pays the vault fee for a long time
