you're assuming he gives a fuck if you quit or not, probably not a safe assumption

so yea prolly no pressure

u didnt read my post carefully enough... if it would be only me

he needs this game to remove fg from the system. if the update fails many active players will quit as many were alrdy tempted to at the last update, but gave it a chance since it was only a part. so if it fails ls will be a greater wasteland than it alrdy is and market will be more dead. so the purpose of removing fg from the system cant work as well as with more players. and trust me when i tell u, that ls is one his most viable ways to remove fg ;)

i really hope drop system and solo xp will be fixed.

currently you get +-the same amount of xp from each mob, no matter if 1 or 5 people kill. so killing with 5 ppl is usually 5 times faster (even more if you keep in mind how fast splash deals with the waves). i have done a whole maze without leveling once while playing solo...
on the other hand drop rates should be 5 times better with 5 people than with 1 person in game, but it feels more like 8-9 times better, at least for the higher tier items.

i agree that playing in a group should give some benefits over solo play, to encourage people to group up.
but that should be the benefits of having a lot of specialists that form a perfect group and give the group the ability to beat the quests or challenging eps, and not to give them the ability to level 5 times faster and find twice as much per person...

He should state a release date as all the great games out there so we won't bother with such threads.

Hard to making truith. BUT!

You guys who said "Iso arena back or better solo drops in cata, etc" didn't realised, Ladder Slasher was made to teamplay & for guilds. And for the race of guilds. And to a better race you all need to play as a team. Everything about gps/teams now & not about personal benefits. This is the situation atm (and probably it's "as was originally intended" ;) ).

Anyhow, this is my opinion. And you like it or not, it's your lookout. :)

imo it was designed to be simple and straight forward, and pure hack and slash fun: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=3772920&f=28

however, im not complaining about the progress the game is going through.
BUT for a big part of the players it is still a game they would like to play everytime they have a few minutes of time. may it be at work in their 5 minute coffee break, while learning for university and needing a few minutes off, or while their kids take a 30 minute nap and housework is already done.
since the player base is too small to provide a group on every level you can hop in for a few minutes and leave again, there should be a valid way to enjoy the game as a solo experience aswell IMO.

as much as the concept of immunities (also against certain melee weapons) will hurt my equipment, i think it is the way to make group play more appealing without punishing solo play too much.
if the only possibility to complete certain quests is a well balanced group, and the rewards for the quests are drastically increased so that more people are willing to complete all of them instead of dodging quests where ever they can, it is a way better method to encourage team play then by punishing solo play with extremely slow progress and nonexistant drops

/e:
this is how it looks right now.

so players who happen to live in bad timezones or like to play at different times should level 5 times slower?

I agree with you mate. The solo was simpy & paceful. I enjoyed it. I was totally solo player basicly... when cata was up too. With my some friends also. But we made a good team together in our guild & we started to love playing together in cata. After the "arena no more" patch it's just went to stable. So i like it now. But i really agree with you guys, solo was awesome, simply, calm & less e-drama. :)

But as i said, i still don't know where is the truith, in my opinion 50-50% solo-no solo. ^^
