I don't think that's what's happening, really. Even people with above-average gear have died today in circumstances in which they normally never would have.

I would rather eat a bowl of my own shit, honestly.

Well, I hate to play in cata as a lot people, and Paul removed the "only" way to have fun those people.

Oh ... sorry.. now we only need to kill 100monsters for a lvl, also it's annoying to drive my char instead of click on resummon.
Also people with lower ee gear, made solo runs because of the prof to get some more ee... and now it's almost impossible to get those profs.

Im really don't understand why Paul deleted the arena... would be much better if people can solo in cata and in arena too, more choices ...etc.

I just don't understand what people aren't getting and what they're complaining about.

This is not Diablo 2, you're actually playing a game by a creator that really tries to maintain it and keep it interesting. He's been working at the current product and all the things he's planned for the future for years. People need to deal with the reality that gear and characters and even methods of play are going to get nerfed all in the name of progression.

For all the complaining, it used to be much, much worse in the day where Paul would post in this forum one time a year and make no changes at all. The fact that he's willing to try new things and different things and keep the players honest really says something.

It really sucks to wake up one day and realize that what you did yesterday isn't going to work as well today, but that's part of playing a game that's everchanging. If you would like to play a stagnant game, there are dozens of those around.

If the Ladder Slasher population decreased down to 2 players, that would still be one person more than Paul said that he really specitically aimed to please with his updates. He's said in the past that as long as it plays exactly how he thinks it should and wants it to play, he will be satisfied with his work. If people can't deal with that, then they need to quit playing. I promise, it's not the worst thing you can do, believe me.
