That's because it says so in the guide that all the new people are directed at. Many(but not all) of us read that before asking questions and thought that it was up to date and accurate. Misinformation there is not even comparable to a discussion where it's all opinion based since we all know that the only person that can answer these claims/questions/charges/etc. is Paul, anyone else putting their 2 cents in, is only worth that :)

I've welled a few items(10ish) and max is 987, the top I've seen is 11xx

For the most part I'm not overly concerned about welling, I notice I take more dmg and welling robes is a pain, but so far on the few I've done I have not run out of mana and have completed each one. Oh, and I'm only using 20 intel robes and 13 intel dagger at lvl 71

Bad math is bad

That could have come from a 537 or a 644 which would make it 1.944 to 1.62

You need a larger sample then take your largest crit and your highest dmg and compare

the avg on the ice=590.5

my highest crit=1044 / 590.5 =1,767993226079594

so that would be the crit.

tell me how u did get the 1,62

and we are talking about highest crit% so dont need lager samples....

Here is an idea...

Get 4 casters and a Tank and go try it in Catacombs...

You will be able to view your averages/crits alot easier...

Thats like saying if you shoot 1 arrow 5 feet to the left and 1 5 feet to right, on average you will always hit the target....

and the largest possible from that data is almost 2.0 if it came from a 537 hit

still, you should compare the average damage (or min/max) that you do to the MOB, not that your charms says...
maybe mob has like -50 int or something :P
maybe you were hitting mob for 800 damage, then a 1000 damage hit would be <x1.5

Crits ignore defense so if you average 600 and crit a 1500 with a charm that does 1000 average that may still only be 1.5 and not 2.5x

As I said before, larger sample and compare largest crit to max damage

You casters can't honestly expect to know how crits work after playing for 5 hours can you?
