This statement is almost tempting me to play LS. Well I did and died at level 1 and kind of stopped playing since...haha. :)

They both have items... duh. Diablo 2 has a little bigger arsenal and the weapons are a little more complex.
They both require clicking... no shit, which game doesn't? D2 has a whole world that you can explore - a world in which you can move around.
D2 not only has the stats points with which you can build your char, but also skills.

And yeah, graphics are a different story. Worlds apart.

I think it was never intended to have LS compared to D2.


So much for thinking outside the box LOL
