in HC the 30's are worth 1-2 fg still though...

Thats the fun part of having the monopole xD

Jamie was offering 5fg for them was he was muting seriously. As of late he has been pretty stagnant so who knows and with more competion it results in higher prices ;)

I think you should sell exp, not proficiencies and not entire characters...
For example, if you are 5 fishing proficiency and 10 sword proficiency but you have given up on fishing but not swords (or just want fg), then you might sell 14k fishing exp, leaving you on level 1 fishing and you choose the ratio you are selling for.

no cus then everyone would just mute to lvl 10 or so when tier 1-3 are good
then rinse and repeat
then you never have to go through the hassle of finding a bunch of lvl 20-30-40 etc items to lvl with

i would totally pay a TON for like +10 or 15 muting levels

like many people, i'm kind of divided about this -

on the one hand i think the argument for making people work for the profs they get as opposed to paying for them is very strong

but on the other hand, given the fact that the amount of time it takes to build a proficiency up to something significant is rather extreme, it is pretty difficult for even the most committed players to foresee whether they'll be able to get a sufficient return (enjoyment) on their investment (time) to make it worthwhile (talking about skills profs only because they don't happen naturally). i'm also generally a pretty big believer in unregulated economies; that's probably tipping me more towards this suggestion than away from it - i think the market would work itself out.

Totally agree, muting prices would recover and it would help the community, but ppl shouldn't be able to buy those profs.

As for muting in the 50-55 range, ppl are already muting 30's and 50-55 range will be reached by summer I guarantee.

not.

I think that I could only agree to this if the skill ladder was removed. Because I just really don't like the idea of someone being able to buy their way onto any ladder.
