no newbies ever use staffs. i havent seen a rouge in a cata for over 6 months. All are club barbs, or sword barbs (kids who are cheap and think they'll pass on first go so they save money from buying sammy set. *bzzzz WRONG)

take out daggers for staffs. I daggers, but staffs and daggers are always together, so staff and sword = new mix. Keeps the same limitations (mostly).

Oh man, a heavy armor wearing class able to use a staff. Something I only dream of.

Me and Dave talk about it all the time. My favorite weapons are Staff/Sword/Club.

I agree with this.

I think it's fine how it is now. I understand staffs may not have much use, but they still are usable.
if this suggestion gets the approval by Paul, then what? Future changes to other curent classes and weapon restrictions if people complain enough?

if anything at all, I would support a new class that uses staffs...but really I'm not sure how I feel about a new class being added.

I really don't care THAT much about this situation but i voted "No" just because like stated above, things seem fine the way they are and
there's really no need to change things cause they're working fine just the way they are.

I voted NO.

Out of lazyness I didn't read any of the other post, but my reasoning behind this is that the way it is now it allows for certain values for certain item types. Swords are very expensive and are offset by the low cost of staves. On the other hand daggers and axes are medium in value so a set of either of the two is equal in value. Pretty balanced imo.
