I have suggested this before, but i would like an xp lock so i can farm at certain levels on hc, i can do it with endless deaths on sc but that method seems less viable on hardcore.

That would make things a lot easier for both cores... they won't need to "Death Farm" is if (edited "is" to "if") they could lock their level gain, and with the monster abilities stealing experience would be voided.

Then i could have 3 setups on 3 chars and farm at whatever level i like, would have me playing a lot more for sure, i am an explore mf kinda guy.

Should make higher lvl mobs/EPs have a reasonable (not imba) boost to drops instead of 0/negative. That would increase build diversity IMO and eliminate the need for deathfarming for a lot of more established players

Yeah this would make trapdoors a lot better.

I concur with you both, this would be great, but will not hinder "Death farming" (jmo = just my opinion)

To fix the issue, every monster spawn should have a drop, even if the dropped item is a loin cloth that doesn't even help. This is an extreme example, but maybe a tier I white would be the lowest item from a monster. We already see this in Treasure Chests... they should be renamed to "Chests" because in reality, the drops from them are not Treasure. :P
