oh ok, did you change how LS behaves then?

When my connection had an issue before the first rewrite, the game just froze and I dropped after a certain time. Now it drops you instant, while you are clicking

Oh sorry, I should update post #1. Beta has already been pushed live (v1.30.6). The beta server is still up (same code as live), for people that want to climb on their bare characters there.

Yes, connection tracking is a bit better now, but also a bit more fickle in that once you start having issues, it'll drop you out much quicker. This is great for some things, but obviously can be irritating for others. It, however, is normal and expected behavior.

It`s terrible for climbing and trying to finish a map and mirror mazes, etc. If there was a buffer time for which you had 5 seconds or something to reestablish a connection to the server it would be nice. Right now, if you get any hiccup which happen all the time to everyone, you get disconnected. Every climb people get knocked off here and there. It also sucks for solo.

The way the disconnects have worked for the last month is how it is. I cannot control it, because the sockets go through Cloudflare, and most of what you're seeing is coming from them "not officially supporting persistent connections."

Edit: That said, I and many others have frequently stayed connected for well over 24 hours at a time without problem.

It's not that it's a big deal it's just incorrect
Making excuses for it to be right is rather silly
It makes sense to me (and presumably Meridius) that a 0 damage hit should play out as: an action with 0 damage dealt, recognized as a hit for skill charging purposes
How it plays out now is that a 0 damage hit is an action with 0 damage dealt, recognized as a hit on offense, but not on defense.

There's just a consistency issue or a text issue is all he's saying
Either change it so a 0 hit is both an action and a 'hit' and charges the 'when hit' skill(s) or change it so the skill reads charges with damage taken


Again, not a big deal, just a small inconsistency to be looked at when time is available

Do you want us to keep posting when we drop and you check if it was a hiccup or something else?

To be fair, part of why I want to play Beta is because I like playing with zero decent items around. :lol:

Last climb i had a weird amount of stats (str + dex was about 30-40 "too much"). got no idea where it was coming from (no glyphs/totem bonus)

i mqed allready but it was on this char:

(usually i end up at 350 ish str+dex but i had 398 this climb at lvl 76)
i added all together including the objectives that i completed (pinch, pieces, pest) (no ambush or nmnm done)

85 start for barb + 10 stats + 75 from lvls +10 ish from objectives +177 from armor + charm --> 357
