Also they came from normal monsters that died in 1-2 hits

Plus that seems like a lot of effort to swap :D

From what I've seen in this game with numbers, all numbers get rounded down. So I expect the same for mL too.

It needs to be at least 10% to make any real difference.. and even then, you need to have a lot of mL on gear. Not realistic for climbs (most climbing gear has no mL)

Those are the same thing imo

What else would effectiveness mean? Lol it either increases your ML or doesnt

Imo it either increases the rate at which ML procs or it increases the amount by which the stat is increased when it procs. Maybe both. Either way 3% is trash.

ML is an oddly unitless stat. We have no idea what 1ML translates to. If magic luck has an impact on more than 1 field at different rates, then it was probably easier to make it as a unitless number.

Hmm ya maybe. Is there an event mod for increased ML %?

And ML still trash in general but ye 3% is better than nothing I guess, but probably pretty close to nothing haha

True, my guess 1 ML would be 1%, kinda like +1 crit would be +1% to crit rate but nobody really knows for sure

1% of what though?

consider 0 ML = impossible to get overspawn.
It certainly is not 1% to find an overspawn for 1 ML, whether or not 10 ML would give 1% to get an overspawn would be plausable. I dont generally look at tier 1-2 drops so almost never see them on the rare occasion i'm using ML.
Also it's be proven that ML works for rerolling and i can promise the 30 or so ML i was using didn't get me an overspawn in the 125 lvl 35 items i rolled lol.

I expect it's also going to be tier related, using 40 ML could say have:
4% chance of tier 1 overspawn
2% chance of tier 2 overspawn
1% chance of tier 3 overspawn
0.5% chance of tier 4 overspawn
etc
Because tier 1's are also the most common would explain why they are seen to overspawn the most.

probably best to ask someone like
or who use ML regularly. There are others just the two who came in my head first.

or even on how often you see an overspawn whilst muting?
