The only thing I know for sure is, it doesn't hurt drops.

I don't think there's enough evidence to say one way or the other for sure.
There's been multiple suggestions that the tier which drops is generally higher though.
I've yet to see anything to suggest the stat quality is higher, but nothing which suggests this isn't the case either.

Only thing I have noticed with Monster Difficulty is that EPs will drop more items when you kill them, I have not tested any welling to see if you get more drops either.

Think if you are welling items (Tier) closest to your character level, you get better chances of more side drops (think highest I got was 8 side drops (9 items total) when I was more active... so still would like to test this out with monster difficulty event... wouldn't mind finding a +Well map with Monster Difficulty to test further since Maps drops items on par (tier) with your character level.

Might get a chance to test this out later, or others could test since they have more time.

I definitely seem to notice an increase in tier/magical quality when monster diff/stat are in play. I dont think it affects the roll of the stats though.

Well, you know....monster difficulty whats it even mean...is that their stats or also the gear they are wearing O.O

As the wording states, increases the difficulty of monsters, it hasn't anything to do with gear... guessing it does with stats since there is a "+X% Monster Stat" and a "+X% Monster Base Difficulty"... so one would think that "+X% Monster Difficulty" is all of them combined.

Had a go at soloing to 101 this event... can confirm that 3k dmg crits are scary af
