How about reducing the drop rate of totems but making their stat effects permanent on a character persisting through MQs and resets :evil:

One more jackpot value drop that could happen anytime but really rarely could be fun :drool:

Totems are just token items compared to Potions... I have found at least 10 potion during the years I have played, and totems give you the same add ons like a potion, so fuck that, it would be 1 mil times useless to find a totem as it is to finding one at a rate of 1/1,000,000,000 with current drop rate to find a totem.

EDIT: Okay... I think I need to RANT... what are the benefits of a Totem drop and modifier compared to a Potion dropping? FUCKING NOTHING ... hey, find 10+ potions in 14 years compared to 0 (ZERO) totems that have the same modifiers in the same time. Why not just get rid of totems, they don't fucking drop, so why have a drop rate for them and the effect is lost after you do a Master Quest like Potions.

Oh, maybe it is Rocket Science where a Totem gives the same effect as a potion that MAY drop like 10 times more often and is nullified when you do your Master Quest.

EDIT 2: Totems are not special, same as Potions... once you do a Master Quest as fast as people are currently doing them, the use of those items are GONE... forgotten... not useful for the next climb.

Think on it... OH, WE GET TO HAVE +5 EXTRA STAT POINTS UNTIL WE DO A mASTER QUEST AND IT IS not CARRIED ON.

Fancy fish with Stats.... oh wait, like I said years ago (10+), consumable.

Their value is in their uniqueness and are kept solely as a collectible to put on a shelf and admire but never use…..

Hence no value for the purpose of playing the game other than E-peen value that can not be displayed in recognition of finding something that so rare.

Next thread should be a Totem thread... but then by the time anyone finds one even with the speed of SC MQ climbs, the thread will close because 3 months later, it auto closes... that is how rare and useless they are, even as E-peen bragging rights.

Just let me stack my potions please :)

Theres no reason I have to save a space for each life potion.

Also make potions last to season end

Would definitely increase the value/usefulness and make it possible to hoard better too... works for me!

Totems are diff from potions. Totems can give GP as well as stats. Plus, potions are made of bone. Totems are made of wood.

Totem stats are attributable too, which actually makes a big difference for int/vit once you are above level 1... besides the fact that they can be put on any stat instead of a fixed stat.

But losing the totem stat effects same as potions on mq/reroll/reset basically means there's no point using totems...

Well that is a better description of a totem that I have never found playing LS, thanks explaining it.
