You do realize the damage calculator does NOT take into affect a monsters level right? All it shows you is the average number for the RANGE of values of your weapon based on EE, Prof, and stats. No defense, no crits, nothing extra. Literally just an average of 2 numbers, you low value and high value. Thats all it shows. Whenever i feel like playing again, ill do the same test 35+ with my axes and show you, yet again, that youre wrong. Like youve been proven numerous times already.

You do realise that in my post I already know that, I am talking about the Monster Difficulty of the monsters the higher you go that slows down your procession (speed) to get to Master Quest compared with the easier level 1 to 25 or 35 monsters based on stats of your character and ratios right? Damage per second will continue to increase at higher levels because it is % based.

EDIT: a monsters defense is just crap... in the whole schemes of the mechanics when trying to reach the higher DPS value of the weapon type vs others... you can NOT argue with facts and use Base monster defense... the difference is this... it is actually the MONSTERS hit points with their base defense that makes a difference... actually it has NO value to your DPS of that weapon of that Tier level and the stats you use.

So, for the record, im level 46 on my pally. Had to refresh my screen so i started the 100 action test again. Forgot to count crits, oh well. Didnt use any abilities or change stats during these 100 actions. All regular hits on normal mobs, with i think 1 ep i came across. Below are my findings.

According to the damage calculator (the whole argument this is about, you saying swords > axes) the below is what i SHOULD have had as an average damage (DPS)

Below are my actual results. Again, no abilities or anything like that.

All that being said, theres a random number on the calculator screen that, for what i can see, has no "Title", so idk what its for. However its closer to my average damage than anything else lol

In closing, the damage calculator is a GREAT TOOL for messing around and seeing what kind of damage each weapon/charm can do, with different stats and profs. But it does NOT show which weapon is 100% better than another. /End of Argument.

Oh yay, on your 100 actions you dealt critical hits and it appeared in Game SS? and your Average went up, wonder how that happened?

Oh, I saw that random Cell yesterday and like 4 days ago, don't think it changes at all.

EDIT: oh hey, was the Critical Hit(s) you dealt from the lower or higher end of your weapons damage?

Do you even remember your original argument or have you had too much whiskey to remember?

You said, Swords > Axes SOLELY BASED on what the damage calculator said. Because the average damage (DPS) on that tool, shows swords to have a higher DPS. But it doesnt actually work out that way. Which is what weve all been trying to tell you.

Babarian AVG / DPS using Swords are better than Axes.
... Sword 25.50 AVG / DPS

This is what was the results of my initial post in that thread. You just have to get near the bottom of the examples I posted based on Tier III weapons, Starting Stats and Character Classes that can use Sword n Axes. Also, Barbarian has only 85 Damage Stats compared to a Fighter & Rogue with 90 Damage Stat total. With the fighter, there isn't a difference in my example.

You can test it out for yourself, remember the Calculator does not include Critical Hit Chance (ChC) with Stat(s) and the Weapon Ratio or the Critical Strike modifier from any items you are using (if any). Your SS average damage includes Critical Hit(s) using that Axe right?
__________

EDIT: I would like to see the Damage Calculator to evolve where you can add in the Character Class which will add in the starting stats, with a Character level cell that will add in the amount of stats per level including starting stats... this can evolve the Calculator with showing Hit points / Mana pool and maybe even Regen totals etc. This would be even better for new people to use to find out for themselves what character they could / would like to start off with and the weapons types they have access to.

Yes my stat picture shows what it looks like with crits. Because, like weve said 100 times to you already, the DPS from the calculator that YOU use to say swords > axes, doesnt count crit. Doesnt count the fact that for some reason, at least for me, my axes 90% of the time hit for MORE than the max damage. You saying swords > axes is ONLY based on the average of the high/low damage numbers based off stats/ee/prof. But youll never understand that. You dont understand shit. Im done. All the proof i can provide, has been shown. Dont tag me.

And you are looking at it one way... your axes, or all axes deal higher damage end damage than shown in the calculator... so do swords, and they have a higher end damage output than axes ... thus the Avg DPS is still higher.
