I would love more slots aswell, this is one of the biggest reasons I never "startup" my fishing again pretty much.

These are some of the idea's I've asked for over the last 5-6years ^^

Purchasable slots.
Extra Item Slots on gear (dropping from on certain quests etc with a small % chance to drop)
Filter (Kinda sucks to filter away fish that would still have a value once you reach higher levels)
Fish in dropbox so u can take it if u want/need it. (same as filter)
Change how the well works (like posted previous in the topic) Instead of ea 15 ranks (15 would be the starting point still, but after that every 5ranks remove a tier)

would help a alot if items in your vault automaticly stack so you can put all fishies in your vault without spending 120 slots for 120 sardine fishies

I vote for setting a better a parameter system to be able to auto-trash certain tiers of fish you dont want to keep. It would be like the Auto-stack feature, only with tiers of fish.

the amount of prof points between my fishing and cooking rank is enough to get you from 0 to about 27.5 ^^

I agree, that would be great. From my point of view, we are dependent on autostack. Cant fish without it.

In current form, due to limited nr of item slots, we cannot manage the values of our stacks. So leveling is kind of useless at this point, the avg of fish doesnt change too much from one tier to another (instead of one merlin we can eat 2xtuna and get more life from it).
But if we could auto-delete unwanted tiers... we could keep 2-3 tiers and fish at 70% autostack and manually regroup the ones below 70% for example.

Every +2 ESS = +1 EIS (Extra Item Slots)
Or just add 'EIS' into the game.

while we're at it, let's make ML work on fish, too (I guess technically I don't know for CERTAIN that it doesn't, but ive done a lot of fishing with ML gear and never seen an overspawn fish)

Does anyone know if it affects comfrey? I know rods can overspawn

Well, my main skill is fishing (just 21, so I am not a pro).

Here is my honest opinion:
Fishing is still OP. You can get very nice amount of fish in a relatively short term. You even can use rods without dura and they are free or 1 fg.

So you just have to spend time and earn so many fg without any serious investment.

Well, after lvl49 you can suffering from the lack of slots and that slow you down (coz a, using Vault b, throw low tier ones away), but well, it is still OP. I don't think it should be changed.
I will say the same if I reach the level when this issue will come up for me too.
