Events aren’t a key part of the game as shown by the over a year we went without and also the decade before they were ever even a thought in Paul’s mind. They are nice but the ability to turn them off isn’t a bad thing. They also wouldn’t receive the boost in drops that goes along with the mods

I guess for someone that’s never know the game without the idea of events they might be a key part of the game. For people that have been on the site longer than 2 years they are exactly as they are stated on the portal BONUS EVENTS which is to say extra additional things. Not required, not an integral part of the game, and in some cases like the 59% MD event they aren’t even wanted by the majority of players.

Maybe refrain from debating the history of a game when you’ve barely been around for even a minor fraction of it.

I do like the game exactly how it is at the moment.

I do see a reason for "newer" players getting problems on higher levels. But then jsut go ahead addept and go play a feeder while it.

also pretty much all of the "sellable" stuff drops within the MD events

E/ and i see finally some improvments for the glyphing guys who investet ALOT of time into a skill wich is actually useable again.

If you just get 2-3 glyphs for solo climbing it will increase your experience by alot aswell

Why: monster difficulty is terrible for new players and especially for hardcore. The hardcore community is quickly dying out, and the game itself as well. In other words, LS is a “pay to win” game and those kind of games are never successful. If you want your game to succeed, you need to make it easier for new players to start and succeed. If they like it, they can decide later on to “buy upgrades”. But the key is to get them to like it in the first place.
