it’s not price but hc availability. Not to mention with only 8k I’m fairly certain he would get outbid. It’s been a while since there was a decent mq dagger for sale.

There’s only 2 of those on hc (that I know of). And not for sale. That’s why they cost a lot. On sc I’m sure they’d cost only 1-2k lol.
There are more than 2 with 150+ee out there... I’ve personally owned 3x different MQ daggers that fit that Bill. I’d say there are probably 5-8 in the range you named. Mostly on the lower end of it though. You’re right though... definitely nfs
