Mate i'm still for the idea, but just so you know this is how people with shit gear get to 71. 1-2 waves then regen.

ppl who is playing without gear maybe.
its not that bad in general on sc.

95% of the ppl playing has somewhat of gear and trying to upgrade. [softcore]

on hc its harder to tell since they are trying to do the bufcore thingy.

There are more ppl than just the guild who do MM's that can play high lvls u just have to be willing to go at it as a team.
As far as the tier lvl for drops inverted to the high lvl u are is this a true fact or just merely a suggestion if it is true I am willing to make a super high lvl character to see if anythign good falls. The last time i did this truew the monsters were hard as hell and the drops were awful and i did this as a warlock and I will testify they hit HARD. GL to all who try this .

Not talking about bufcore. Bufcore is different since its on a new char where the climb is easier. With ~75ee, ~30 stat items, sometimes you have to run away from 3 normal mobs before killing them at 65+. I'm sure it would be easy to test on softcore since that kind of gear is like what, 10fg for the weapon, 1fg for the armor/charm?

Again tho, not trying to argue, I'm for the idea because of the other points you made about wanting to get better gear for a reason, skillers, etc.

@ blue... concur... I tested this out with a character that had not completed a Master Quest, got to 71, dang it... 3 monster spawns... oh well back to the drawing board.

@ suggestion, there is nothing wrong with this suggestion at all, whether a person is new to game, has no gear etc, all it means, is that new person can actually find something usable as they are climbing upto 71 and make the time & effort mean something... as for gamers with gear... so they have gear... big whoop... the reduction of TierI / IIs at higher levels is a great idea.

You want newcomers to be on the exact same playing field as people who spent mass amounts of time/fg to get where they are now?

That makes perfect sense. While we are at it, lets reset skilling profs every ladder reset because newcomers cant transmute tier XIV items.

you havent read a thing in this topic right?
and why would the rich be richer? compared to anyone else, I doubt anyone would spend the time it would take to be able to only get 55 items, and it would take them 30min to kill just 1 monster at that level it requires.
ppl with 150ee can still get to lvl 200, if they jsut want to.

You would see a huge difference at level 40 already.
Pretty much 95% of the drops are t1-t2 drops.
If those are being taken away at level 40 already it would be a huge difference for everyone at level 60 or 160.

Even if you are level 200 it doesnt mean you gonna get a good item.
ATM there is none muting level 40 items or 45 items (at least not paying for them)
so between level 200 and 260 the lowest items you will get still wont generate a single fg to anyone.

And would it really be that bad if someone else found a good item? I would be happy for them instead of whining about not being able to kill a monster.
Any decent clicker will be able to go to lvl 200 no matter what gear you have. IT WILL TAKE ALOT OF TIME AND EFFORT THOU!

The real problem is not that high level mobs drop tier I items. The real problem is that they barely drop anything else. A general adjustment should be done, regarding those 71+ levels, too.
