There is no weaker mobs on HC, lol.
Actually it's harder since item supply isn't that big and good quality like on SC. On HC you have to watch for your life bar, healer wastes his mana nonstop, there isn't something like on SC "soon lvl up, nn shrine I can risk it and don't heal", etc.

HC and SC are the same exact game.

Here's the only difference in game play:

On HC, if you die, you lose everything on that character.
