Hc isnt for everyone. takes some patience really..
if im lucky i will find a 1-71 group, but most of the time i just solo.
Takes me a while, but im used to it already. I find i gain more prof when i solo.
Its hard to find decent gear in the Mp, but once in a while something nice will be there.

There are many friendly people on HC, compared to my 3 mqs in SC.
I have no use for clubs really, so if you find yourself in a nitch where you need a weapon pm me

i'm searching from yesterday a weapon and armor for lvl 30+ and still havent found :(

result for ee armors is zero and only one low club up ... maybe will have more luck on days to come b)
but lvling works fine as long as you try to go with several chars with different lvls

Chip is good people. When my good friend dyer quit HC to go to SC, Chips and AB took him in and helped him out, hopefully I returned the favor

from a vet hc player i will tell you this.

Most of us were solo on hc and just dabbled a bit into the cata part of the game. the more cata adds the more people moved into this direction but always true to the arena.
some old habbits are hard to break.

the reason most people think hc players are total asses is very simple. Why invest time into helping someone when all it takes is 1 death to make them quit?
there have been MANY noobs come over to hc with a sc mentality and waste TONS of fg on gear and such.. 1-2 deaths later they sell out and go back to sc.

i would wager that 99% of every hc vet has lost atleast 20K+ in gear.. and its really not that big of a loss after a few months pass LOL. Deaths happen..

so what i am trying to say.. you will find a few nice hc players.. the ones you wont see are probably paying more attention to you than you know.. once you have proven yourself a true HC slasher.. you will find a lot more players willing to slash with ya.

As for the gear issue.. i used to toss all my "lower" high lvl finds into my new guildmates vaults. if they used them .. great.. if they tossed or sold.. good too. if it was a quiet time with very few guildmates slashing i just shrined anything not worth making a thread about. No point in holding onto gear that you cant sell pretty quick.. and with a very low amount of players on hc.. there is no need to hold onto noob gear.

Hope you enjoy HC.. and remember the / between your max life and your actual life.. is and can be your best friend.. never let him not be red :)

Lots of good posts with valuable info. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to post up info/advice. I will be back at it tonight after work. Have a great day HC community!

Well I decided to see how the HC community lived and how they play the game.  So far I have only seen one person:

http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=347774

Didnt catch his name but vn and helped me learn some about hc and for that thank you.....didnt know you needed 2 vaults.

So far stuff is not terribly expensive.  Only have 30fg so I am "on a budget", got axe for 4fg and armor for 1fg.  Found the rest.

I was proud that i was able to complete the maze with no help but I am lost on why people play hc exclusively?  I had fun doing maze on my own but isnt it lonely?

I am sure there are a few groups of people that run together but how do you get new members to your "group"?  i will never be a full time hc player but just trying to learn about your niche and plan to keep 1 hc toon for fun.  I guess the questions I have are:

Do you run from Ambush?
Do you schedule breaks?
What are the rules if u need to answer the door/bathroom/phone?
If someone goes to town for gear does everyone wait?
Do you have to be on Vent for hc?

There is a chance that I might encounter a group on my hc climb and would just like to know some of the rules or guidelines.

Chip

here's what happens when you join HC

you have no FG and no gear, everyone repels you except Syndicate

if you have a lot of FG and start buying a lot of shit that other people want, everyone thinks you're a doucher until they get to know you

I have just started hardcore, and I'm having the same problem. What I'm doing is climbing a few characters so maybe I can catch a cata group here and there to level a little bit. If I can't I just solo; even if it takes me 20 minutes for level, I don't care, I'm having fun still.

I have also found people in cata groups who were very kind and helpful :)
