I hope everyone is ashamed for how far this forum has digressed. All I see is bickering, whining, griping, pissing, moaning, and bitching. For every season I can remember there has been a "best drop" topic and there has never been an "official poster". In any reasonable person's eyes, the word Unfair is simply a pun from a guild name to exemplify the notion that exceptional drops are "unfair" (therefore a pun?).

May be everyone forgets what happens in this community but every noticeable achievement basically gets documented on the forum. Some guilds and individuals more than others. Todd has done an amazing job putting together an astonishing line up of slashers and naturally they have a lot of topics to be made to celebrate their achievements. Every guild and individual has this right. All of you should be thinking twice because how about everyone says negative things on your celebratory topics because it is really nothing new at all in terms of ladder slasher history. So to simple say "shut up, stop posting", may be it applies to everyone. But that would defeat the purpose wouldn't it?

Everyone can appreciate each others achievements and accomplishments regardless of their guild. And if having guild-pride is a crime, every single one of you are guilty as sin.

Edit; To address this topic as well, it is just a Pun, grow up and be mature.

The problem is we've seen the same 'pun' a thousand times. This topic should be for the community as a whole, even if the topic doesn't directly say Unfair Advantage, it gives it that same feel. A simple sorry, close please, could have solved this entirely.

On a side note, I was, and still am, in a guild named Lobster in other games. We used to use the name in everything too. The Lobstars, Bacon Lobster Tomato, 12 inch Lobsters, etc. Eventually we realized the name was much better off being left alone, and maybe sparingly used for puns. You guys managed to burn out a guild name in record time tho. Let the 'unfair' talk die for a while and salvage the name if you really like it.

One of the best posts I have read on here in quite awhile. Words of wisdom for sure.
Thank you.

And why would I post in another topic to be raged at by those not in UA.
There is absolutely no reason. Would post it, and be raged at.....

Don't like the topics that are made, well than don't post in them.

they can make as many "unfair" topics as they want about their guilds and guildies achievements, BUT this topic should be meant for all and not only for ua members, shouldnt it?
so thats the point everyone but the pony farm inhabitants is crying about, which is fair enough imo.

so just dont try to unfairise every topic. ur guild topics are more than enough alrdy - ty ;)

I must say, this was entertaining to read in all honesty. It's a great thing too see personal feelings/thoughts/opinions be placed out directly into the open
public without the need to refrain due to etiquette/environment something thats usually factored in when dealing with irl situations.

I'm a very neutral person when it comes to situations and in a way I can see the good and bad of both sides. The "unfair" word used to really click in my mind
and I liked it. I was perusing through the cartoon channels one saturday morning and even happend to see the word "unfair" in a pokemon episode. Not to shortly
after I heard the word again although I can't seem to remember where.

In a way, the term bothers me a bit now instead of the spontaneous and genuine feedback I enjoyed from it awhile ago. However, I never put myself in a position
to hate just because it "annoys" me or so to speak. A principle I like to follow by is friends are friends and business is business. Although it doesn't directly
relate as such, the unfair topics have been done in a way to display their accomplishments as well as advertise as Nick put it. If someone were to do things a certain way
just to cater to a rival, he wouldn't be considering his own conditions, his own ambitions, his own goals. Regardless of such though, I also feel it isn't right to continuously
maraude a person's attempt to "advertise" or put forth their accomplishments even if it is done in an arrogant manner. Sure some would hate it and sure it may cause that
person's downfall, but it is there decision to make. We all have our own thoughts about a myriad of things.

Im sure after this post, ill have both a society and ua hatred for me due to the nature in which I display the good and bad of both sides but I wanted to say it nevertheless.

The word unfair has been used since the guild was created in every topic where any member from UA has accomplished something, and that is fine by me for sure but due to this the word is so very related to the guild itself which is why I think it's wrong to put the word in a topic that is meant for everyone and that will stay with us for xxx days.

My english-skills is not 10 / 10 but I hope you get my point.

Ok let's bring up some history, when i came along, almost every topic had "Sexy" in it.
And till Nate quit for a while it was the word use it to describe almost every accomplishment made by him, his guildies and almost everyone in the community.
And there was no rage what's so ever, and everyone was happy even if the topic stayed open for months.
So what changed??

I tell you what changed, the community, the people that rage, on every single post made by us or by anyone else that doesn't have a good idea or simply doesn't know all about the game, or just think about the game on a different manner.
The hate against us, about our accomplishments or our items or anything else at all. Which i really don't know what we did to deserve such a hate mood in the 1st place.

I've been playing this game for years and I'm not known as i don't post very often or don't even do such big accomplishments.
So if the majority wants to hate us for no reason, go for it... it's not like we care anyways, cause we got our conscience clean.

Agreed, but to have it rubbed in our faces day after day after day, with such egos - it gets unfunny, and just plain annoying. They have pretty much copyrighted the word, so now once that word is used in a topic - it seems like it is Guild related. I don't see why a guild related drop finding topic would be in the main LS forum. Unless of course it is to ego stroke that little bit more. ;)
