i think more average players will stop playing since they cant afford to keep up now...

i thought by playing rogue/pala caster (which worked perfectly) i had a chance to keep up a bit with all the gosu gamers (they still got the means and necessary funds to adjust their playstyle)!

now im in serious trouble since i basically cant play a caster more, flushed like 8k worth of charms down the pipe... (which is almost all i got just to make my caster work)

guess im gonna have to live with that

5er-8er chains from 20-40 and 1-4er chains from 40+ are awesome!

still aint gonna quit... just fighting with that major setback in my plans!

I still have to play this new update... I have 2 setups for my Monk anyway... and I normally only do like 1-2 MCC if lucky in Arena... let us see if it improves.

Setups...
... Damage: 135EE staff / Strength & Int Robe / 34 Strength Main Charm / 60EE Focus on Acc
... Semi Heal Hybrid: 135EE staff / 33% HM Robe / 41% HM Main Charm / 60EE Focus on Acc

Wonder if this gets higher MCC @ level 60+

tried the first setup (with similar gear) and its pretty much killing me (aint going over 1-3 mcc)!

gonna try the 2nd setup now...

/e heres the fun part - check this poor fella Imhotep

he got crap gear, crap stats and just all points he got so far in int!

if i run around with the sword/ee plate/dex charm/heal i get to have even 10+ mcc... (takin like 5-10 mins for it though)

how is that possible? i mean my monk got like +30-50 more in str/dex + better gear and yet he doesnt even come close to anything like that!

is it just the points in int that make the diff? thats sooo hard to believe...

no no not quitting yet (might be soon to come tho), just stating that i'm sure many veteran slashers that like to mainly solo cast are gonna quit and
that's really a shame imo... casting is how many ppl made their fg and got their gear which then led to them being able to solo cast and climb quicker.
but now much of their casting gear is nerfed so alot of what they worked for is basically down the drain

its not true, you are just stating semi-nonsense casting still works. But your damage is not direct anymore there is a defense in between so that is what you need to get around and all will be well, mods like AP and CS are there to do that

Don't take this the wrong way im a fan of updates, but every single one that's been since the transmuting 2 items stopped has screwed me over and probably a lot of people starting ls..i spent most my fg on slasher awhile back as i wanted something to waste it on and since that update with the muting(new patch) i've been trying to get back into it, only i can't make any fg to fund myself..the loss of being able to mute, no maze cata's, and now this..it just makes it nearly impossible without luck to start improving a character that could actually produce a profit/10+chain counts on high levels...But hey theres been some good updates to this, i guess now you just gotta find a way to hit a nice amount of fg to fund a half decent slasher and a put a lot more time into it..
