No. Not supporting transfers is part of the integral balance to this game. No amount of pleading, crying, whining, cursing, yelling, etc will get me to change my stance on this.

The item was placed on the market for FIVE forum gold. A tier ELEVEN item for 5fg. OF COURSE it was bought instantly! Only a FOOL would pass that up.

And only an asshole would keep it after seeing under what circumstances he bought it.

I got news for you, it wouldn't have mattered if it was up for 1fg or 10,000fg.  It was gone in less than 3 seconds.

I guess it's back to selling every item I own for 15k fg, because even if I SELL an item for the agreed price in a Trade Hall, I'm not so sure it makes it's way to the intended person under this current system. In fact, I'm willing to bet someone "snipes" it under THOSE circumstances.

Technically, I think the FEE was 5fg, the item was for 100. Who cares. 1fg, 10,000fg. Nothing's going to change.

Yes, it matters. If it would have been muled at 10k fg, it wouldn't have been lost. The more expensive the price is, the less risk you take by muling.
edit : 10k fg is an exemple ofc

Nope. 100% confirmed the item was purchased for 5fg.

So which fool didn't pass it up? Same not-fool that bought the other things? Is it unimportant?

41 members viewing the thread. At last, this gets the attention it deserves. Not to change the rules or change your stance on anything Paul, but to maybe show everyone, including us, that this game is different now and there's no point in playing it like we used to.

One character to hold all the items a person could desire. It's the only thing that's safe.

Rick. Paul might change his mind regardings xfering items ..

And i hope he does ...

I mean, who can reset a ladder without xfering items from a guild mate, or a guild .. ?

I don't wanna get warned for speaking my mind, so this is my last post on this matter ..

I just hope you will change this, considering that people are using their own money on this game .. sad.gif

just in case you missed it :

Welcome to d2jsp. No offense but I would prefer to pay cost for the item and then it only cost me the xfer cost.

It seems Empire just keeps losing fucking gear. This is getting retarded.

210% EE Mystical Fire XI. Anyone know who just bought it?

All I have to say is wow. maybe you should just buy the item at normal price and pay that fg back to the owner, and vice versa.

vouch lol, but dude think about, they spend $$$$$ to play your GG you should do something about it for god's sake or they not gonna spend their shit on this anymore smile.gif

People spend $ on Diablo II, and Blizzard has yet to implement a safe method of transferring items in Diablo II, though it is within their ability to do so. There is a single player mod that gives this ability, in fact. Not overly difficult.

The game is designed to work this way. If you choose to try and get an edge by transferring, you are taking the risks associated with placing any item on the market.

That's not the problem. The problem is, posting it up for the actual price costs you like, 100fg just to put it on...

It doesn't even matter. I know people (and guilds) that still "transfer" their items at 1.1fg. It doesn't matter if it's up for 100. If I put my best item up on the Market, would like my friend to test it, for 10k FG, I'm sure someone would buy that, too.

Like I said, if nothing else, this is just the reminder to all. Stop making multiple characters, only buy what you can use to the fullest, because there is no safe way to play this game by preparing yourself to be efficient, because you can only hold items on one character. The only safe way, I'm afraid.
